We're looking for a technically proficient, creative and outgoing audio producer to join our young team. This role represents a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to be part of something unique in Scotland, helping voice actors worldwide to create demos for their portfolios and make a tangible difference in their careers.
The role comes with genuine autonomy, allowing you to take ownership of your work, supported by a positive working environment and competent management. We'll empower you to guide talent on making the most of the Voquent platform, moderating submissions and fulfilling VoiceReels orders.
You'll ideally have a diploma or degree in music technology or audio engineering and a track record of creating music, podcasts, audio dramas or other related media. You'll come with plenty of enthusiasm and be comfortable taking the lead on productions—well-versed in working with other creatives and talent of all capabilities.
· Daily clearance and quality assurance of audio demos, photos and profile information submitted to Voquent
· Handling telephone and email enquiries from acting talents worldwide to resolve questions about the voice-over industry, VoiceReels and Voquent
· Manage talent expectations and provide career guidance as required
· Direct recruitment and engagement of voice talent, studios and associated parties using phone, email and social networking.
· Consulting with talent and helping them create unique and professional audio samples and reels
· Advise talent about script and music selection for their samples and reels
· Live directing talent remotely via studio-to-studio connection to capture optimal performance.
· Proactively support the production team.
· Self-motivated and driven to provide excellent customer service
· An active listener, capable of building rapport and willing to ask questions
· Excellent knowledge of production apps, including Izotope RX and Pro-Tools
· Excellent audio editing skills
· An ear for music mixing and mastering
· A related qualification in Music Technology
· A portfolio of audio production work, ideally including vocals
· Some previous experience in a similar or related role is desirable
· Good knowledge of Office applications
